A Billboard revelou na manhã desta terça-feira (7) através de uma transmissão ao vivo com Ludacris e Pete Wentz, do Fall Out Boy, os primeiros indicados do “Billboard Music Awards” 2015.
Os finalistas das cinco principais categorias foram divulgados aos poucos durante o programa “Good Morning America”, além do anúncio de que a banda de Wentz apresentará o single “Uma Thurman” na noite do evento.
Entre as indicações, Taylor Swift lidera com 14 nomeações, seguida por Sam Smith, com 13, e a rapper Iggy Azalea, com 12.
O Billboard Music Awards 2015 reconhece os artistas que mais se destacaram nas paradas musicais nos últimos meses ao redor do mundo, baseado em número de vendas, popularidade e downloads legais.
Este ano, a premiação será realizada no dia 17 de maio, em Las Vegas, com apresentação de Ludacris e Chrissy Teigen.
