Katy Perry recebeu sete indicações ao MTV Europe Music Awards, liderando a premiação, segundo informações do site da “Billboard”. Ariana Grande aparece em seguida, com seis indicações. Já 5 Seconds of Summer e Pharrell Williams disputam cinco categorias.

Katy Perry concorre por melhor pop, melhor artista feminina, melhor ao vivo, melhor visual e seu single “Dark horse” disputa melhor música e melhor vídeo. 5 Seconds of Summer e Ariana Grande também disputam a categoria de melhor “push”, que premia o artista que mais avançou na carreira durante o último ano.
A cerimônia de premiação acontecerá no dia 9 de novembro em Glasgow, na Escócia.
