Harry e Meghan Markle à poucos dias da tour por Angola, Malawi e Botsuana

O casal real britânico, Príncipe Harry e Meghan Markle anunciaram que estão a poucos dias do início da sua aventura por África que passa por Malawi, Angola e Botsuana.

Terminada a licença de maternidade, Meghan Markle prepara-se para regressar em grande às visitas e compromissos oficiais. A ex-atriz vai juntar-se ao marido para juntos fazerem uma tour oficial por África. O pequeno Archie, primeiro filho do casal, de apenas três meses, acompanhará os pais nesta aventura única.

“Dentro de algumas semanas a nossa família irá fazer a primeira tour oficial para África. Uma região do mundo que nas últimas duas décadas tem sido uma segunda casa para mim”, diz Harry num comunicado publicado na conta oficial de Instagram dos duques.

A África do Sul, Malaui e Botsuana são membros da Commonwealth, enquanto que Angola deu a conhecer no ano passado o interesse em aderir, mas ainda não completou o processo.

Esta não é a primeira vez que o príncipe Harry visita Angola, onde esteve em 2013 no âmbito da campanha para remover minas terrestres em algumas partes do país, seguindo os passos da mãe, a princesa Diana, que também esteve no país africano em 1997.
